My first day
Who would have thought that when your cutting back on what you eat that there are so many things that you CANT eat! I got really frustrated yesterday and had 4 pieces of left over Christmas candy! Thank god I only have 4 more left…lol I so need to go to the grocery store and spend some time looking at different foods and what all they have in them. The hardest time for me is in the morning. Im not a person who wakes up starving to death. I much rather wait until lunch to eat something. Everything that I have read so far says that you must eat a health breakfast to start your metabolism first thing. I guess Im just Im going to have to suck it up and eat something either right before work or when I get there. Who would have known that cutting back would actually cost more!! I was going to start walking yesterday at lunch or after work, but its so freakin cold!! I so need to get the money together for a treadmill! Anyone know if there is a loan program for people trying to loss weight and needs the equipment?? Hope everyone is having a great 2008!

Hey girly! I'm like you with the breakfast thing...I only eat breakfast on special occasions usually, I'd prefer to wait until lunch. In fact, most of the time I'm MORE hungry by lunch if I eat breakfast, I guess because I HAVE jump-started my metabolism or whatever. BUT, my mother-in-law introduced me to those great granola bars put out by Fiber One..girl they taste SO GOOD, nothing like the lowfat Quaker ones. It's like eating candy! BUT there's less than 200 calories in them and they're chock full of fiber...like 9 grams!...which makes you feel fuller longer. I've read lots of stuff that says people who get the 25-30 grams of fiber in their diet that the FDA recommends lose more weight than other folks so I'm trying to up my fiber anyway but it's hard! These things give me a good dose of fiber PLUS they keep me full until lunch and they are GOOD...try 'em! :)
Hello C, I’ve missed you also. Wow, congratulations to all of your new goals. You can do it, you can do it, you can do it...
This is an excellent way to start off the new year.
